After walking through and around the cairn, we walked through the field, across a road, and to Temple Wood - Northern and Southern (they are right next to each other).
Temple Wood Northern was the earlier of the circles. It started out as a timber circle (circa 4000 BC). It was later replaced by standing stones. These were then removed at some point and cobbles were heaped round.
